This Agreement is entered on September 1, 2004 by between China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) and Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC). CNOOC and PNOC (Parties) in which the parties signed a bilateral Agreement for Joint Marine Seismic Undertaking with in Certain Areas in the South China Sea including twelve articles: The Agreement Term, The Agreement Area, Financing, Seismic Work, The Joint Operating Committee, Subcontracts and Service Contracts, Mutual Assistance, Negotiation Term, Assignment, Participation of a Third Party, Confidentiality of Information and Miscellaneous Provisions.
